James, myself and our Trustees Charlotte Peel and Jo Lambert went to Manchester Hospital on Friday to give your donation of £30,000 to Meningitis Research we were really excited how the money had been used i:- ‘ Understanding meningococcal disease by simultaneously  studying genetic blueprints of patients and the meningococci causing their illness’

This is a specific project we have chosen to support Ray Borrow and his team are making enormous progress in this field to battle against Meningitis

They also reported how excited they were to get the new Bexero vaccine introduced for babies and even in that short space of time the cases of Meningitis in infants has declined.
